The End

Thank you for being here.

But.

This chapter of my life has come to an end and it's time to start a new one.

A new phase, a new beginning.

NEW HOUSE!!!! WHEEE!!!

Omg omg omg.

As I type this, my parents are off to Ris Grandeur to collect the keys to our new condo! WHEEE!!!!

I'm so freakin' happy! New room, new curtains, new bed, new room colour, new cupboards, fancy things I can do to my bay window... and according to Mark.. I can finally shit in comfort! That is SO true! Finally. I can sit, shit and read in PEACE and oooo.. comfort... and privacy... and MmMm.. it's just so good.

I'm thinking of the new oven as well... Whee! After not having a proper working stove at the flat for the past 4 months.. or 5 months even. It's good to be able to cook! Whee!

And there's the swimming pool of course.. the BBQ pits.. (although I kinda hate BBQing.. It's just too troublesome) the jacuzzi... The new cupboards. (HAH! I can finally see all my old clothes that have been hiding in the boxes.)

I'm happy happy happy HAPPY!

Okay. A totally minor bonus. I will be staying near Mark too.. haha.. like 5 minutes away. My own personal chauffeur.. WHEE!!!!!!!!! (Please. He uses me for my cable tv, so we're even.)

LONG overdue photos. =)

And then there's the Valentine's Day Chocolate Brownie with Cream Cheese Layer. He said it was delicious. (He had to.) But it was! And it was an amazing FIRST attempt by me and the two girlies. *it was divided into three, it was too big anyway!!!*

Top View.

Side View... It looks messy I know. But messy is GOOD.

one month of woOoork

Yup!

It's the one month anniversary of work already. So soon huh?

And already I'm dreaming and thinking about HOLIDAYS! Fantasies really. But I really hope it comes true!

Well... after 2005's completely foiled holiday. Bloody long story right but there was the North-South-Vietnam holiday with friends and the North-South-New Zealand holiday with family that were completely screwed over. This year, hopefully with the condo getting settled, everything will turn out fine.

Well, first there's rural but potentially fun (but still, it's for work).. Alabama! Possibly 3 weeks to a month in the southern state. Could be good. I hope.. I'll be flying off end Feb or early March... to work. But it'll be Spring! And pretty hopefully! Worse come to worse, juz go down to Florida or something over the weekend? Hehe.

Then... the truly ambitious trip with my girlfriends up to Eastern Europe in May! Vienna, Prague and Budapest! *swoonz* That. I'm truly looking forward to. The parents have given up and decided to agree to it.

Cos.... I had originally given up North-South-Vietnam with friends for the North-South-New Zealand with family, and screwed up the Graduation Holiday thing. So... Yup! Here's Eastern Europe to make up for it! ... It'd be perfect if my family goes to Switzerland and the rest of Western Europe this year to visit my aunt. I won't miss that anyway cos I was just there a year and a half ago. Then it'd be off to NZ next April!

Y'know..  I think if I'm careful with my expenses the next few months, I'd be able to save up and pay like 80% of the trip. And. If ... my LOVELY friends and LOVED ones... *ahem* give me CASH for my birthday in APRIL this year and contribute to my trip to Eastern Europe... I'd be freeeeeakkkiinnnn' happy! Imagine! That amount of money goes to your souvenirs!!!!!

Sigh. Need to go and see if I can get my leave first though. Am told by the girlfriends that I'd need to confirm by this Tuesday so that we can start booking the flights and accomodations. I can't wait! =)

Life's good. Love holidays.

hello to rare updates

Yup. It's my second week at work already.

Staring at the computer screen or at documents the entire day, doesn't make me exactly want to stare at more words when I get back in the evening. All I want to do is kill some braincells by watching TV... or lazing on the couch.. or go out with my friends n the boyfriend...

So. That's it. No more entries until I feel up to it. Can't talk about work, it's not nice anyway to talk about work. Work the whole day and then come back and talk about it. Nah. Nothing that eventful. Don't think it's "morally" right either. Or was it "legally" right. Erm.. whichever.

I've got something nice to write about though.

My half day! Whee! Nice company to let us have a half-day for CNY on Friday... So... Guess what I did?

Went to Wild Wild Wet! Free tickets! Ok. I would be complaining if the tickets weren't free cos it certainly wasn't worth spending more than 5 bucks on the place.

Think Mark n I have grown old or something. Our fave things to do weren't the "thrill rides" like those huge slides (although it really wasn't that huge, quite disappointing... except for the Slide-up .. that was quite thrilling. the first part at least).

But what we enjoyed most was the Shiok River... Which was the river like thingy with a current pushing you n your tube around. Quite fun to relax there! And talk.. and push each others tube away ... And race to see who would be faster.

And the wave pool. That was quite fun too.. though tiring to get out into the deeper end cos the waves would push you back out. We had fun doing those. Just spent two hours there.. Which was enough. Nothing much else to do.

And what was great was .. the place wasn't crowded at all. Had enough people to make you feel not alone.. But few enough of them so that you don't have to rush with other people for anything.

*sigh* I love halfdays.
